I really missed my friends, and Maykala was happy to see grandma and grandpa.
My mother took a week off for us, and of course we took a little advantage of that! She watches over Maykala for us so daddy and I can go relax and enjoy ourselves :)
We finally got to watch a movie. Since we can't take Maykala to any of the scary ones of course. We watched Rise of the Guardians. It was a great animation, we would've taken Maykala. But the bad guy (Boogie Man) would have scared her.
We also got to hang out with my bestie Janice :) It was great seeing her. haha, the day before leaving she bought me 2 large bags of Hot Fries! Which used to be my most favorite chips in high school. Hilarious part was, she went through 3 stores just to find them for me! Awe! Bad part for me is I'm trying to cut out on junkies! (thanks janice! >.>)
Hubby really wanted to go dancing, because he hasn't got to for the past year, since he joined the military. I felt really bad and wanted to make him happy. And unfortunately Cheyenne has no Ballroom Dance Studios :(
So I found one in Murray. Boy was he excited! Janice came along with us. It was just a short 2 hour beginners - advanced West Coast Swing or Mamba lessons. But they keep the studio open an additional 4 hours for fun :)
I didn't know Janice picked up Salsa, so during our free time after all the lessons. Hubby and her were busting out moves, and Janice doing her Salsa showing him up! haha! We had a great night, ending it with In and Out burgers with a movie at Janice's bfs place.
I'm really glad we went to visit Utah. It was really nice to get out of Cheyenne for a while, but at the same time we missed our cozy home.
